Team WESCOM secures the country's Energy Resources

Air force official pays courtesy call to Wescom

The commander of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) paid a courtesy call to the Armed Forces of the Philippines camp in Palawan on the morning of 05 April 2013.

 BGEN WILLIAM P TURALDE AFP, commander AFRC was welcomed by Western Command deputy commander BGEN ELMER R AMON AFP at the Camp General Artemio Ricarte in Puerto Princesa City, the island province's capital. 


 Being both belonging to the Philippine Air Force, BGEN TURALDE and BGEN AMON discussed possible cooperation between the AFRC and Wescom. They agreed that that despite there being no formal cooperation between the two military units, exchanges in the past and a number of projects and programs have provided a useful basis for future cooperation.



 BGEN TURALDE is the Commander of Air Force Reserve Command based in Clark Air Base, Pampanga, and was in the province for a testimonial visit and courtesy call at the Western Command.
